Christmas Eve at Arlington Street United Methodist Church

Christmas Eve at Arlington Street United Methodist Church is one of the most beautiful and meaningful nights of the entire year. As the sanctuary fills with soft light, familiar carols, and the quiet anticipation of the holy night, we gather as a church family to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Light of the World.

Our Christmas Eve Service is a time of worship, wonder, and welcome. Whether you come every Sunday or are joining us again after some time away, you will find a place prepared for you. The service includes Scripture readings, beloved Christmas hymns, a message of hope, and the lighting of candles as we remember the humble night when heaven touched earth in Bethlehem.

Surrounded by the glow of candlelight, we are reminded that God still comes close, still speaks peace into our lives, and still brings light into every darkness. This sacred evening invites us to slow down, breathe deeply, and experience the joy and promise of Christ’s birth.

We warmly invite you, your family, and your friends to join us this Christmas Eve. Come as you are. Come with your hopes, your worries, your gratitude, and your longing for peace. Come and experience the beauty, comfort, and wonder of Christmas at Arlington Street United Methodist Church.

A place is waiting for you.
A candle is waiting for you.
And the Light of the World is waiting for you.

Our Faithful Living Extends Beyond Sunday Worship

“For we are what God has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.”
—Ephesians 2:10 (NRSV)

At Arlington Street United Methodist Church, worship is at the heart of who we are, but our faithful living reaches far beyond Sunday morning. Each week we gather to hear God’s Word, sing the cherished hymns of our tradition, and pray together for healing and hope.
On the first Sunday of every month, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper at an open table. Everyone who loves Christ, repents of their sin, and seeks to live in peace is welcome to join us. We share unfermented grape juice and bread in gratitude to God, with a gluten-free option available so that all may partake.

We are located at the corner of Arlington Street and Haines Street in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Plenty of free street parking is available (please do not block our neighbors' driveways).
Our church is handicap accessible via the Haines Street entrance.
We have a mobility lift to go between floors. The sanctuary is located on the 2nd floor.
