OUTREACH & SUPPORT

Arlington Street
United Methodist Church
is committed to serving one another,
the Crown Hill Community,
the people of Nashua,
and beyond.
"What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." (James 2:14-17)
We Serve One Another by partnering and supporting organizations in our local community, hosting programs at our church, and through providing mission shares used to support the Global and Regional Mission of The United Methodist Church.
Our Community Outreach
At Arlington Street United Methodist Church, we believe in putting faith into action by serving our neighbors and “paying it forward.” Our outreach efforts include:
-
Annual Crop Walk of Nashua – Partnering with United Way to support hunger relief through events such as food collections, the Sleep Out, and food distribution.
For more information: United Way of Greater Nashua -
Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter – We hold an ongoing food collection to help provide meals for those in need.
-
Dr. Crisp Elementary School – Supporting their fundraising efforts through donations, collecting back-to-school supplies, and providing Christmas gifts for families.
-
The Salvation Army – Helping provide Christmas gifts for local families in need.
-
Support Groups – Hosting weekly Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings (see our Weekly Events page for details).
-
Discretionary Fund – Established to help with emergency needs within our church community.
Through these ministries and partnerships, we strive to extend God’s love and compassion beyond our walls and into the heart of Nashua.
