ABOUT US
We believe that Jesus Christ came to reveal the fullness of God's love for us, and we continue to celebrate that love through praise, sacraments, service, and community.

We Believe in One Triune God
We confess and celebrate the mystery of the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three Persons, yet one God. Grace itself is God’s gift, flowing from the love and work of the Trinity.
“There are three that testify in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit,
and these three are one.”
—1 John 5:7 (NRSV)
What We Believe
Our Mission
At Arlington Street United Methodist Church, our mission is to be a loving and inclusive community, dedicated to worshiping God and nurturing Christian faith. We live out this calling by creating meaningful fellowship within the church family, strengthening and supporting families in their faith journey, deepening spiritual growth within our congregation and the wider community, and exploring and developing new opportunities for worship.
As a United Methodist Church, we adhere to the mission statement adopted by the United Methodist General Conference, published in The Book of Discipline Of The United Methodist Church 2016, page 93.
"The mission of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."

Our Teachings
Our preaching and teaching are rooted in the rich traditions of Wesleyan theology. We seek a faithful balance between belief and action—living out our faith through good works and striving to embody holy love in daily life. At the heart of this journey is the call to Christian Perfection, described by John Wesley as: “the humble, gentle, patient love of God and our neighbor, ruling our tempers, words, and actions.” —John Wesley, A Plain Account of Christian Perfection

Holy living begins with three simple rules that guide us: Do no harm, do good, follow God’s ordinances.
